Ranbir Kapoor is the latest of Kapoor family arrived with the release of Saawariya. Even though the film was not a huge success, his performance was well noticed.
Ranbir Kapoor was born on September 28, 1982 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His parents are popular actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Also Ranbir Kapoor is the brother of Riddhima Kapoor. He is the great grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor, and the grandson of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor. His uncles are Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, and his cousins include Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda.
Ranbir Kapoor studied at the Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. He attended HR college in Mumbai for two years, and then went to pursue method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
He is the only actor in the Kapoor family, besides cousin Kareena, to have attended college.

Ranbir Kapoor was dating Deepika Padukone a while before. Kapoor had confirmed his relationship with Deepika Padukone to the media saying, “We’ve been dating for the past couple of weeks. I am very happy in my relationship with Deepika…I want to be this way all the time.” However, as of now, Ranbir is not in a relationship, he is single and want to remain like that for a better carrier in Bollywood.
